Responsible Minerals Declaration
Lead complies with international conventions and industry initiatives such as the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. We are committed to responsibly sourcing minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, cobalt, and others used in our products and production processes. Responsible minerals are integrated into our supply chain sustainability management system and incorporated into supplier admission and supervision processes. We require all relevant suppliers to commit that the materials they supply are sourced from environmentally and socially responsible origins. They must not use minerals from conflict-affected areas or violate company policies. We conduct reasonable due diligence on suppliers and have the right to request evidence of the origin of the materials they provide. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any activities that may exacerbate conflicts, cause serious environmental degradation, or violate human rights. We do not engage in or support such activities for profit or assistance. We prohibit any human rights abuses related to mineral extraction, transportation, or trade. We also prohibit providing direct or indirect support to non-governmental armed groups or security forces that illegitimately control mining sites, transportation routes, trade locations, and similar entities.
